Winter activities in the Tannheimer Valley

Thanks to an ideal topography and its situation above the fog line, the Tannheimer Valley is not only sunnier in winter than elsewhere in the Alps, but also has better guarantees of snow. As well as being a cross-country skiing paradise, the high valley boasts magical winter walking trails and snowshoe trails, beautiful, calm ski slopes, frozen lakes for ice-skating and curling, toboggan tracks and snowy paths for romantic trips by horse-drawn sleigh.
Hotel Hohenfels opens directly onto the pistes and the cross-country trail network. From the bus stop just 100 metres from the hotel, you can travel for free to anywhere in the Tannheimer Valley within half an hour.

The high valley is equally perfect for summer activities in the midst of nature. Sunny weather and pleasant temperatures, beautiful Alpine landscapes, calm and peace – all ideal for you to unwind and recharge.
