Travelling to Tannheim in the Tannheimer Valley in Tyrol

It's easy to reach Hohenfels by car, train and plane!

The Tannheimer Valley and Hotel Hohenfels can be reached via a stunning car ride from Germany, Switzerland or Italy. There is plenty of free parking for guests right next to the hotel, where you can leave your car throughout your holiday. Tyrol is also easy to reach by plane and train.

Getting to Tannheim by car

The best way to get to Hotel Hohenfels from Germany is via: Ulm, Kempten, Oy-Wertach, Oberjoch.
Note: You will not need an Austrian motorway sticker!
If you are coming from Switzerland, St. Gallen, Bregenz and Kempten will bring you to the Tannheimer Valley.
From Italy you can reach Hohenfels via Bozen and Innsbruch or via Como, Bregenz (Austria) and Kempten (Germany).

Getting here by train

Sonthofen station (Germany) is 24 km from Hotel Hohenfels in the Tannheimer Valley; Pfronten station (Germany) is just 16 km.

Getting here by plane

The nearest airport is Allgäu Airport in Memmingen – 50 minutes away from Hohenfels.

From Innsbruck airport, it takes around 1 h 50 to reach Hohenfels.
From Munich airport, it is about 2 h 15.
